What MadeMay provides

MadeMay provides a platform for discovering vetted artists and communicating with them about custom commissions. We provide the storefront, on-platform messaging, secure Stripe checkout, and dispute escalation tools. We don't create the work ourselves or guarantee the outcome of any commission.

User responsibilities

By using MadeMay, you agree to provide accurate information, treat other users with respect, and follow our content guidelines. You are responsible for your own conduct on the platform and for any agreements you make with other users.

Artisan and buyer relationships

The creative agreement between an artisan and a buyer is between those two parties. Payments, messaging, and delivery coordination happen on MadeMay so there is a clear record, but artists remain responsible for the work they agree to create.

Intellectual property

Content you upload to MadeMay, such as portfolio images and messages, remains your property. By uploading content, you grant MadeMay a license to display it on the platform as part of your profile and related features.
