Every artisan on MadeMay is reviewed by our curation team before their profile goes live. We evaluate their portfolio, experience, and craft quality. This is a vetted marketplace, not an open listing platform.

Is MadeMay free?

For buyers, MadeMay is free — browse profiles, send inquiries, and message artists at no cost. Invited artists choose one of three membership plans during onboarding: $2,000 upfront + 20% per order, $5,000 upfront + 10% per order, or $0 upfront + 10% per order + one donated artwork selected by a MadeMay curator. Payments, messaging, and delivery coordination all happen on MadeMay — checkout is handled securely through Stripe and every commission has a clear on-platform record from first message to finished piece.
