Artist profile approval

Here is what to expect when you create a MadeMay artist account.

Step 1: Build your profile

Use [artist signup](/auth/signup?role=artisan), verify your email, and complete your profile with details about your craft, experience, and commission process. Upload at least six works with the information buyers need to understand each piece.

Step 2: Curation review

Your profile stays private while MadeMay reviews the quality and presentation of your work, your commission process, and the completeness of your storefront. Artists already on our pre-approved list do not need a second review when they verify the same email address.

Step 3: Approval or feedback

If your profile is approved, we publish it to the live roster. If we feel your profile is not quite ready, we may provide feedback on what would strengthen it for future consideration.

How long does it take?

Review times depend on profile volume. Your dashboard shows whether your profile is awaiting approval, needs changes, or has been published. We email you when a review decision is made.
