Create an artist account

MadeMay welcomes artists to sign up and build a storefront. Your profile stays private until it is complete and approved.

Who can sign up?

Painters, drawing artists, and sculptors making real, handmade work can create an account. Start at [artist signup](/auth/signup?role=artisan). Everyone uses the same signup and profile setup.

Build your storefront

Verify your email and enter your personal first and last name. Add your profile photo, cover image, studio location, artist story, materials, styles, commission process, pricing, and availability. Upload at least six clear artwork images with titles, subjects, mediums, dimensions, and descriptions.

What happens after you build your profile

Submit your completed profile. MadeMay reviews your work and readiness for commissions before publication. If your verified email exactly matches our existing pre-approved artist list, your completed profile is automatically accepted. You do not need a separate application or private link.

Payments, messaging, and delivery coordination happen on MadeMay, with checkout handled securely through Stripe and each commission kept in one shared record.
