Daydreams

by Cynthia Kinard

Subject: Figurative
Medium: Watercolor
Dimensions: 30x25
Created: 2003

This is a little boy whom I first met at a fair. His head was covered with curls but by the time I painted him he had lost them. I thought the barn setting was very fitting for him as his family seemed to be Mennonites. At present, I am painting another portrait of him using the pictures I took of him with the curls. Again, this is watercolor on paper using the dry-brush technique.
