Artisan application process

Here is what to expect when you apply to join MadeMay as an artisan.

Step 1: Submit your application

Fill out the onboarding form with details about your craft, experience, and the type of work you create. Upload portfolio images that represent your best work.

Step 2: Curation review

Our curation team evaluates every application individually. We look at the quality and consistency of your work, the clarity of your process, and your experience as a painter or sculptor. This is not a volume marketplace — we are looking for artists who produce exceptional work.

Step 3: Approval or feedback

If your application is approved, we will help you finalize your profile and get it published. If we feel your application is not quite ready, we may provide feedback on what would strengthen it for future consideration.

How long does it take?

Review times vary depending on application volume, but we aim to respond within a reasonable timeframe. We appreciate your patience as we give every application the attention it deserves.
