I am an illustrator and wildlife artist. While my main focus is wildlife art & children’s book illustration, I also specialize in photorealistic portraits. The mediums I work in are pastels, colored pencils, pen & ink, graphite, charcoal, watercolors, and digital painting.

I have been painting for many years, primarily animals; pets and wildlife. Some years ago I was hit with an illness that left me unable to walk, speak or coordinate my hands. Making myself work to get back into painting has been very therapeutic in my recovery and I am now enjoying painting almost every day again...

A practicing painter for over 30 years, I enjoy contemporary impressionistic approaches to local landscapes and portraits. I am inspired by the astonishing beauty and perpetual tenacity of nature to thrive through different seasons. My art reflects on the moments that spark something within.
